With a membership you support the preparation of the tracks, the acquisition and maintenance of our equipments and, last but not least, the development of (new) skating events.

Our memberships apply for a calendar year and the costs are:

  • Adults SeK 50:- per year
  • Children <15 years SeK 25:- per year
Though we're currently developing our memberships, this is what is included:

  • Reduction on starting fees or no starting fees at all
  • Free use of our rental skates during selected events
  • Subscription on our digital newsletters
  • Free information and/or instructions on skating
  • And there's more to come!
In the course of 2010 it will be possible for you to register your membership via this website. If you want to be informed when this option is ready, please sign up for our newsletter and we let you know!





If you're a one time visitor to our skating tracks or for any other reason don't need a full membership, but you nevertheless like to support us with our activities? Please feel free to give us a donation.

We offer two ways of making this donation:

  • Buying an 'Isbiten' button at one of our events or via one of our sponsors¹. These buttons cost SeK 50:- each.
  • Making a donation using the 'support us' button below or elswhere on our website. It's up to you to decide when it suits you and how much you can miss.
Whatever kind of support you choose, we would like to assure you that it's very much appreciated!

Swedens most experienced team for the preparation of natural ice. The number of hours our team has worked with and on the ice is over a few thousands. During eight years, at least three months every year, have we worked to get you the best possible ice.

The past years we've building to a nice machinery with many machines for ploughing snow, scraping, planing and brushing the ice. Because of the lenght of our tracks we need many machines with right adjusted tools.


Make sure to use our trailer "SKATES ON THE ROAD". It has about 80 pairs of skates with shoes on board in the sizes 36 till 44. Most skates are a traditional fixed model, but we also have many Nordic skates for cross-country ski boots.

The skating club Orsa200K was established in the autumn of 2003 and later changed name to Orsa-Mora Skating. In the spring of 2004 the club aranged her first event of 50, 100 och 200 km.

This new club aimed at relieve the organisation of the Vasaloppet from her skating activities. Vasaloppet was the organisation which initiated the skating tracks in the year 2000, with much support from the municipalities of Mora and Orsa.

Since 2007 is Orsa-Mora Skating taking care of all the tracks and are we owner of all the machinery

Orsa-Mora Skating target is to provide nice skating tracks at least 3 months a year, at the lakes Saxviken and Orsasjön. During these periods we offer a big range of skating activities.
